Puno anniversary
Hola,
It just so happened that the weekend we were in Puno it was it´s anniversary of sorts. They are celebrating the mythical event where the South American "Adam & Eve" emerged from the waters of Lake Titicaca.
In South America they will use any excuse to have a big party and get drunk, so, that´s what they did. Along with a parade where we took these photos. They love to set off tom thumb fire crackers, it´s deafening. The bands played all night... loudly... ah well you can´t always have your cake and eat it too I suppose.
This is how the local... poorer people carry their young children.
